Why Should You Learn Self-Hypnosis?
You shouldn't. Unless you want your life to be much easier and more successful of course.
You know they say that you only use 10% of your brain? We all know there's some truth to this. We don't always perform as well as we might.
Brain imaging techniques show that we tend to use 30+% of our brain at any time, even when asleep.
So it's not whether we use or what proportion of our brain we use. It's _how_ we use our brain that's important, how we use our minds...
Yet, we're all doing self-hypnosis whether we know it or not. We all give ourselves hypnotic suggestions, we all paint images in our minds.
I've done this time and time again with people. I ask them to "Remember a time recently where you were in a less-than-excellent mood and you don't have a clue why".
I rewind them back about 10 minutes before they went into that bad mood and they _invariably_ have given themselves a hypnotic suggestion to go into one. Something like "I know I'm going to FEEL REALLY STUPID in that meeting".
If hypnosis is as powerful as most people say it is, then how can you know whether you're hypnotising yourself as well as you might?
And since your mind and body are intimately connected, then maybe you can cure yourself of 90% of your ailments?
