Disclaimer: Serious accusations have been levelled at Carmine. Should any of these accusations be proven in a court of law then he will face my condemnation.
Such accusations are thankfully extremely rare in this field and I experienced nothing in the seminar to suggest Carmine would do such things. Given that Carmine could be completely innocent, I refuse to join in the premature destruction of his career.
I trained with him back in spring 1999 and thought "If anyone is a better trainer than Bandler, it's this guy".
I thought I was a highly moral person and when I trained with him, I knew that even my best intentions didn't cut it in comparison to his every day behaviour. Others have different interpretations.
Add to that my conviction that almost everything that happens in his training room was designed that way and he somehow gets it such that at least half of everything he does is aimed specifically for YOUR benefit.
He influenced me at least two more times at a level I previously perceived pretty impossible... And I'm an open-minded kind of guy. If you say you can create world peace, I want to know what you've got in mind.
The first one, he somehow amplified not just my sense of hearing by about 1000%, but also that of the girl sitting next to me. This was no party trick however. Through this I could understand how he had used me as a conduit to teach this girl throughout the whole seminar.
He also somehow managed to create a separate experience for me for which
there are only 2 explanations, both virtually impossible.
Like many people, I had a compulsion to look for a single explanation.
I am convinced he intended to do this as probably the most useful learning experience I could have at that time.
That's like threading a needle from a mile away.
People I know and respect who still train with him a lot, experience more impressive stuff than this all the time.
I went away from the training without achieving what I'd set out to achieve. But I did realise that what I got instead was more valuable.
